No phone number, email or address book is required to use CTalk. Messages and attachments are encrypted on your device before upload. You choose what you share in your conversations.

Do I need a phone number or email?
No. You sign in with a User ID and password. Ask your workspace administrator for access. You don't need to share your contacts or address book.
Can my clients see each other?
Clients don't get a directory of other clients. They can talk to their administrator and assigned manager. In a group, members can see one another's aliases, User IDs and workspace names.
Can I use CTalk on my laptop?
Yes. Open CTalk Web and link it from the Android app using the QR code. After linking, your phone can go offline. You can revoke a linked browser from the app.
How do downloads and message deletion work?
You can save images, videos, voice notes and documents. Delete for me affects your view. Delete for everyone is available for your own messages within 48 hours. Downloaded files, forwarded copies and quoted replies may remain.
Are audio and video calls available?
Audio and video calling is being enabled for this hosted testing release. It isn't ready to use yet. Messaging, voice notes and media sharing are available now. See release information.
What if I forget my password?
Contact your workspace administrator through a channel you already have. They can reset a client or manager password. There is no email or SMS recovery. Workspace admins use the platform's super-admin recovery process.
